Not here to bitch, nor do I want your pity, so relax before you downvote me. I was one of those people who would always say "Riot won't ban me" whenever someone said they'll report me. Then I got chat-suspended. I stopped talking shit. Then I started doing it again. And I got chat-suspended again. It wasn't until the 14-day ban that I really tried to change. I turned off all-chat. I started muting team mates that tried to flame me. I said "good job" when we did something right instead of saying "why" when we did something wrong. It's been a good two or three weeks since I received he 14-day suspension. I haven't been reported up until the very last game I played (and if I have, they aren't showing me any chats from them, so I can only assume it's this one game where I relapsed). I spent a lot of money on my account. I doubt I'll waste time trying to get it back. I know I fucked up. I tried to reform. But trying isn't enough.

If you've been punished and you're still talking shit or being salty, I'm asking you to stop. For yourself. It's not worth having to get back to level 30. It's not worth having to buy all those skins and rune pages. It's not worth the feeling of knowing you basically just lost $500 or so on the sidewalk. Being toxic isn't worth it. Responding to other toxic people isn't worth it. I'm going to make a new account now, because I know the stigma attached to getting punished any sort of way in this community isn't worth dealing with. But I just hope this reaches someone out there who's struggling to reform and gives them something to think about. I've been doing well since I got banned but this one relapse fucked me over. Don't fuck yourself over. It's not worth the permaban. Goodbye.

Glad to see more people who actually understand the ban and thinking about their own faults rather than just blaming everyone/everything else.

Thank you for sharing this. I know there is a lot of salt out there for how the reporting/warning/banning system does or does not work, but I feel like each positive outcome is something to really be grateful for. And all the better that you are open to sharing your own experiences and struggles -- people will scoff or roll their eyes, but even if you reach one person to correct their behavior in a small way, you've done some real good here :]

I'm just gonna say it, this is weaksauce stuff. I've seen far worse, both from myself (I admit it, I'm no saint) and from other players.

Then again I suppose previous punishments add up against you.

On the bright side, seeing somebody who is reasonable about accepting their ban is quite refreshing, as much as it sucks for you.

Feel ya buddy, Lost a 3 and a half years old account with Diamond border and 1900$. Not worth, all of that because I deffended a friend of mine being bullied because he was black(Obviously I did not talk back in a polite way, actually did the complete opposite... Really the complete opposite). But tbh, I do not regret a thing. Other than all the effort I spent on that account, screw the money, I'l flame any other racist I find on my new accounts. And they will get banned if they need to be. But, I'm not the guy who is gonna stand down to some retarded rednecks pieces of shit talking bout lynching and all that kind of crap. I guess Riot might see some more of my accounts on their perma ban list, if I have the badluck to find some of these kids.

Only one game in the in client reform card? I'd submit a request to support and ask for a manual review + more chat logs. That's assuming you care enough, though.

Hey good luck on your new account man. I know I had issues with rage (thankfully I was never banned for it) when I started playing a couple years ago. But my intense longing to be good at this game taught me the benefits of being positive and a good/helpful teammate. Also the usefulness of the mute button. League of Legends taught me a valuable life lesson on keeping cool, compromising, and being optimistic no matter what the state of the game could be at that time. To me, I saw that, practically, there was no reason to focus on the past and what mistakes could have happened, since I cannot change the past. Rather I need to focus on the future and what I can still do to win.

I never understood why Riot has this Elementary School mentality honestly.

If someone insults someone else in the slightest of ways there's just this shit strom of bans. Yes, I do understand that someone who just insults their team for no reason is anoyying, but thats reality.

No one is going to be out there and hold your hand, bu punishing all the bullies.

If you look at all the main stream competative games, trash-talking and taunting are not punishable offences, and for good reason. The main objective is to win, and show to your opponents that you are more skilled than them, the trash talk is just another part to that.

The fact Riot puts almost as much work into banning someone for calling some else a "poopyhead", as they do in other core elements of the actual game is kinda funny.

Pretty sure if you email them, and you made purchases with real money and they wont reimburse you or transfer over RP or whatever it is that you actually did pay for, that you then have an actual legal case against them. It doesn't matter if you break the rules or not in that particular case, because if you pay for goods and services and do not get what you pay for, that is against the law. Especially in the united states. Im not saying sue them, nor am I condoning bad behavior, but if you paid money into it, you shouldn't have to repay it all to receive the same things you have already purchased.

Dun worry banned cuz swears even though the person who reported you had chat filter and never saw any swear words. Being negative or toxic is all a matter of opinion and with that said I offended by everything so all my reports are valid. If the other team wins that's toxic.
