Just had entire team flame me for banning a teammate's Yasuo calling it trolling

I ban Yasuo and Zed every game with no exceptions, because:

A) Going against them is difficult for me if they get ahead B) Teammates tend to do very poorly with them in my games

I get in a lobby and see our mid laner pick Yasuo. So as usual, I ban Yasuo, and before I could even say anything along the lines of "Yasuos in my game are bad luck for me" all 4 of my teammates start flaming me. I wish I was joking when each of them started calling me slurs of every kind in the book. They called me a terrible person and really rude things like %%%got, retard, dumbass, fuck, shit, and pathetic nerd (which is very ironic). The mid laner decides he will take Warwick mid after me banning his Yasuo.

Fast forward to game where I'm playing Udyr. My teammates refused to leash me after all them complaining in all chat right as game started saying things like, "we're going to ff at 15" and other negative gameplay ideas. I go through jungle as usual when I run out of camps and there's no spots for open ganks, so I decide I'll peak around the enemy's jungle and ward. Turns out their jungle was warded, and before I knew it I was fighting a Kayn. I got him to about ~50 health before he flashed away and the enemy mid and top laner come to punish me for it. I try to run but in the end, die. At this point the top laner flames me for feeding his laner a kill, bot lane calls me trash, then mid just spam pings me.

After this, I take my raptors as they were only camp up, then decide to take Kayn's gromp. I know this is bad gameplay on my part for not thinking Kayn would come, but I died to him. Once again teammates flame me for being 0/2. Eventually when we're going through the game and at 15 minutes they issue a surrender vote. We were only down by 9 kills, had a strong teamfight, had our Top laner in promos, so I decided that I'll try to stick out and farm up then split. Vote ends 4/1, even though I expected it to be 3/2 as our top laner said he would vote no. After it failed, our bot lane and mid lane decide to tell the enemy team to just end and report me, then went to AFK in fountain. We then lose.

The thing I don't get it why they're telling the enemy to report me for trolling when they themselves literally all AFK'ed in fountain at level 7?

You have the right on paper to ban your teammate's pick, and there's no justification for flaming one's teammates or trolling, so as far as Riot is concerned, you're the victim here.

But dude, your actions essentially told your teammate that your preferences were more important than theirs, and that their enjoyment of the game came secondary to your arbitrary feelings about a specific champ. That's just about as antagonistic as somebody can be in the champ select process, without resorting to deep and overt flaming. So I'm not sure why you're surprised that the reaction was so negative.

I ban Vayne in almost every game these days, because I sincerely hate playing against her. But I'd never dream of banning her when my teammate hovers her, because team cohesion is already fragile enough in this game, and starting a game off by telling your teammate that you don't respect their wishes is a shitty way to go.

I ban Yasuo and Zed every game with no exceptions, because:

Exception: you can't ban both champions. You elected to ban your teammate's pick.

If that's your thing, then so be it. If they insulted you, report them in the post game.

If you're going to ban your teammate's pick, then be prepared to deal with the consequences (a pissed off team). Albeit, the consequences should never have included slurs. No one should have to deal with slurs.

You intentionally banned your teammates pick, so don't cry for getting flamed and trolled all game.

What they did was obviously worse, but I also don't think you have any right to complain about it.

Next time, try not making enemies with your own team in champ select. The disadvantage you get from banning your teammates pick is greater than the disadvantage you get from playing with or against said pick.

Again, what they did was (waay) worse, but you are also not great.

While their behavior wasn't acceptable I would highly you consider re-evaluating your communication methods during the banning phase and your mindset on who to ban.

I also find it rather ironic that you went 5/1 on Zed two days ago

You banned a teammate's champion because it was "bad luck". If you said your team had no magic damage and the mid laner still insisted on playing Yas you would have gotten every sympathy from me, but "brings you back luck" is not a thing.

Did you ever stop to think that perhaps the reason your teammates were mad at you is because you banned one of their intended picks without even discussing it with them first? I understand you're not a fan of Yasuo or Zed, and that's fine, but what's not fine is purposely banning your teammates intended pick without at least discussing it with them a little first, which I know is difficult since Champ Select has a low time limit.

While their actions are not acceptable either, this all could have been avoided had you not decided to intentionally screw over your teammate by banning their intended pick. Next time try talking it over with them first before banning their pick, as chances are it might be a comfort pick for them and they might do well in-game because of it. If you come to an agreement and they still harass you for it afterwards then that's their problem not yours.

Basically just try to be considerate of your teammates and avoid doing things that you know will just tick them off, such as intentionally banning their intended pick.

Tbh, youre kinda in the wrong here , albiet indirectly because you didnt actually break any rules, but what you did was generalize the skill of this yasuo, just because you had suckish ones in the past. If you saw someone hovering yasuo, then why not ban zed instead?

But what i find odd is why you pissed them off, but expected a leash?

You think you can just ban your teams pick because you think you're gonna be affected? You aren't the only one in the game, you have no right to ruin someone else's game because you can't deal with certain champions.

Honestly i feel banning your own teams champ should be reportable, it's essentially another form of toxicity.

I ban teammates champs if they are troll picks. Like jhin adc or anything with a sub 48% winrate in that roll. Soemtimes people get butthurt though. RIP
