Honoring The Enemy

Why can't we honor players on the enemy team and vice versa? There have been so many opponents I've wanted to honor for a long time now and its somewhat frustrating not being able to give them their due for displaying good sportsmanship.

We used to be able to, but with the new system I'd imagine Riot would be afraid of people honoring enemies that afk'd or tilted their team or played like trash or just generally helping their team lose harder. Which I'm sure used to happen all the time, but now that rewards are involved, I'd imagine they don't want those people to get rewarded for trolling or just being bad or toxic.

On a side note, I voted yes.

I liked it too. It is a useful way to thanks to someone after a game.

As an Aram player i get to meet a lot of good opponent that fight even if the team's composition isn't really good. With that "surrend madness" in ARAM, it's nice to see people here to play and doing their best even with an afk or with a flaming stick with a keyboard in their team. For instance : A good Blitz with impressive grab is a good teammate as well as a good enemy.

But I saw that a year ago some rioter said that they'll think about it ...
