I'm still not 100% sure how the season rewards are distributed and who is restricted on the rewards as this is my first season and I am not sure if I am up for earning rewards. But my brother JUST got chat restricted and he is silver. Is he still up for earning the rewards or does this do him in?
I could be wrong but I think if he had a chat restriction when the season ended, then he wont get rewards.
Since this happened after the season ended, then he should be fine. I'm fairly certain that punishments that happen after the season has ended do not affect your eligibility for ranked rewards.
The exception to this is if you were punished for Elo/MMR boosting, which makes you ineligible no matter when it happened, but that's not the case for your brother.
i thought chat restrictions were still okay, or i could be wrong and remember the wrong notes from another icon.
