I'm finally switching to the other side.
If you pick a PURE troll position in a ranked game you should just be banned, maybe 24 hours first offense. I realize riot said years ago they don't support a meta but when 9/10 players in a game agree a troll pick lost a ranked game there should be something that can be done about it.
There is no reason your fun is more important than the other 9 players.
There is literally no such thing as a "PURE troll position".
There is no enforced meta. Any champion can be played in any position. Champions are not required to go AD or AP. It does not matter if 9/10 people think it's a "troll pick" - there is no such thing. There is only trolling.
Unfortunately, league is a free to play video game. If you want serious, competitive games, stop playing with strangers. Anyone can play this shit. You can be as casual as you want about it. Make your own team and play with them if you want a serious competitive environment. Until then, you can be matched with people who don't give a fuck because it's A GAME with no real life consequences attached to it. So if you do give a fuck to the point where you want to ban non meta things, you should probably stop playing with casuals. Everytime you queue up with strangers, you need to lower your expectations. You chose to enter matchmaking to get matched with strangers, so you should be expecting casual players. It's a free to play game, not a tournament of pros. It's a leisurely activity.
