Players open mid without consensus

So in my most recent game, we were off to a bad start and my mid and jungler wanted to open mid. The rest of the players did not want to open mid but we lost anyways. Is this okay? Will mid and jg be punished since I reported them?

depends on if they actually did open mid. If jg continue to jg, why would he be punished? If mid leave mid and go to another lane or afk, then he might be dealt with by LeaveBuster depends largely on what he does. If he didn't leave mid and continue to play, why would he be punished? Need to know what they did exactly after they said they wanted to open mid.

if they do it consistently enough, they will be punished.

Asking to open mid or threatening to open mid are both flagged as negative by the chat module of the IFS. It will lead them closer to being punished every time they are reported for it. There is also the possibility of their action being detected as a gameplay offense, and that would give them a 14 day ban for the first offense.

Keep on reporting valid gameplay offenses to help improve the gameplay detection modules.
