Report notifications

Does Riot still give notifications when people that are reported get banned. because there is a certain player that i definitely want to know if they get banned. i really won't be happy knowing someone like that person is still playing the game freely. almost as if my report doesn't even matter.

i actually put in time and write down what my report is about instead of just reporting and leaving i would be happy to know if all that typing actually means anything in the long run.
