If I use my mastery emote, there will often be that one person on the enemy team that calls me toxic and a piece of shit, and it makes no sense to me. All I did was show my mastery emote? Am I toxic to use it 2-3 times a game? Jeez.
Its just needles Epenis flashing in my opinion (plus it always that one yasuo)
I don't have a problem with it, but some people just take it as BM. I honestly only use my mastery 7 emote when I miss all 4 ult shots on Jhin. I have to let them know I was kind and let them go.
People can see mastery flashes as a form of dominance, which intimidates them and puts them in a state where they either want to challenge that dominance by flashing their own mastery or flaming. Or not respond at all.
While it doesn't bother me, I do consider those that flash it are just asshats and basically trying to appear to rub it in your face. You claim all you did is show your mastery, ok I got it the first time but after 5-6 times in 5 min. then you are just being an ass and trying to show boat and you know it. Best way to shut these people down is kill them shortly after they flash it. After about 3-4 deaths it stops and then all is well. I think it should be removed.
