Because requesting that someone to actually end their own life is a bit worse than just calling them trash, yes.
Fun fact, the pre-game and post-game lobbies are now part of the chat logs now. Content you express in either lobby can be reviewed and punished.

it sounds fair to me like telling someone they should uninstall and that they are the worst kinds of players can be chalked up to ppl being salty and gets reported but telling ppl to go kill themselves and Example: (Get Cancer) and such totally deserve any punishment they get
