Not sure if i feel sorry or that what comes is justified for the creators of Dunk master Ivern skin

These people who prob felt they put all their love in the world into this skin but the crtique and hate they are prob gonna get is heighten. People gonna use that skin as a proof at how popular champs gets the love while the lost and forgotten ones gets those. I feel honestly sorry for u creators since i bet u thought the idea was exellent and all but sometimes i wonder how out of tune u are with the community and the Mains of this champion. So should i feel sorry for u since a skin u prob was great is hated on or should i feel its half justified since it shows a lack of awareness to the community and the players and mains of the champ

I feel like some of it is deserved because when a champion gets a joke skin after never receiving a skin for some time, joke skins are a cool change of pace but I would like one of the cool skins first.

Some of it isn't deserved because Iverns' character doesn't really call for a serious skin, unless the skin is so serious that it's ironically funny. Like Void Ivern or Battlecast Ivern or something along those lines

Whoever was working on this skin has to have known it was shit. This skin was clearly pushed out quietly because Riot thought no one would care and they could check Ivern off their list.

There will always be people that hate X skin for Y reason, regardless of who its for or what it is.

I think Riot always has the best intentions in terms of skins, but they really do miss the mark sometimes. There is evidence that they look at community concepts(Dragon Trainer Heim, Pizza Delivery Sivir, ~~Crazy Cat Lady~~ Meowrick) for skins, so I wonder why they didn't take a more popular concept for Ivern and run with it.

I do think I see what they are trying to do, though. March Madness is a thing, and spring is coming up soon, so I think they thought "hey lets give the bright tree guy a basketball skin for March Madness and spring". Its not good, and I think there are better skins out there that would've fit him, but I think people should just appreciate what they got regardless. They can hate it, and they have every right to, but being a bunch of aggressive assholes about it isn't helping.
