Players Think Urf is Less Serious than All Other Game Modes

Almost every single post in player behavior I have been reading this week is about players who have been punished before reaching the Perma Ban status on their account after relapsing on some form of toxicity defined by Riot, whether it is minor or major.

For SOME reason they ALWAYS say "I was just HAVING FUN in an URF game"

….Then some iteration of it wasn't fair, they didn't know/never got a warning, and the infamous "League is dying/dead"

While URF is a whacky game mode, it does not change the TOS of the game.

BE WARNED

Edit: Feels good when all the people on player behavior who have gotten ban are down voting me :D

Your title is very misleading, most people don't take urf seriously because it's meant as a fun gamemode, if you want to take something seriously then play ranked. Obviously that doesn't excuse people being toxic or afking and what not, but that also isn't to say that you should be tryharding in urf and shouldn't have some fun messing around. I do it all the time, even if it doesn't help us inch closer to victory, the whole point of the gamemode is to have fun with something out of the ordinary.

People don't care if it's random champions on steroids. If they are losing they want to take it out on someone. That's the brain damage this game causes.
