Boosted account still gets rewarded even after sending multiple tickets

First off, I am happy with where I finished this season so this is no excuse to saying I am jealous about an account getting a higher rank than me even though this account was boosted. The only thing that really bothers me is that the boosted account boasts that she got where she deserves even though she gets someone to play on her account.

I've sent in support tickets weeks before the season ended showing proof of the account getting boosted. A support main who suddenly plays ADCs in high plat that haven't been played before on the account. I also know who the booster was and provided the name to support. Yet the only responses I've gotten are: "We'll check this account's activity" or "We'll pass on this information". Weeks have passed since the first ticket with no action, so I've tried again only to get the same responses. The season ended and I've checked the accounts to see if any action was taken. Nope. They got rewarded, and they're showing off about it. This is ridiculous, if boosting were taken very seriously how were they able to get rewarded for doing something so obvious?

No offense but you sound like a little kid trying to tell mommy and daddy that little Kylie took an extra cookie out of the cookie jar.

Like if they detect something they'll take care of it. The fact that this person being in a higher elo than you even if they earned it or not has absolutely no effect on you since you won't even be matched with or against the person means that you really should just worry about yourself.

Just saying, I know boosting is against the rules but how aboit letting mom and dad figure it out. Just makes you look like you are desperately trying to get someone in trouble.

That's exactly the feeling I was getting. It's like I understand boosting is wrong especially if it affects other players but Idk I just dont really have sympathy for people who put effort into getting someone in trouble.

Boosting has its own automatic detection system within the game whether someone report the booster or not (like LeaveBuster). I feel it should be treated like toxicity or afk, mute, report, MOVE ON. It is very rare to play with someone more than 2,3 times in your lifetime unless it is someone you pre-made with. Why spend so much stress and blood pressure worrying about someone you will unlikely to ever see or play with for the rest of your life. Reporting the suspected booster once is enough. Move on with your life.

What you described here is not actually "so obvious" that it would absolutely require Riot to take action. There are a lot of more important factors to consider, given that they want to avoid false positives as good as they can.

I agree boosting should be taken more seriously. However if you found solid evidence for example screen shotting the convos you had with this person actually admiting they were boosted or even finding summoner spells changes like summoner 4 summoner 14 to .

Riot has access to much more data than we do, and summoner spell changes are not a reliable indicator of boosting at all. Nor are champion changes.

You know as well as I do people don't suddenly change what keys they put their ss spells on. It's still a red flag that an account could be boosted.

Thats the same logic as if your ip changed good sign you're being boosted I'm not being rude, but people may be boosted or they may actually be getting better and are learning how to climb Maybe they figured mimicking streamers or other higher elos would get them up and out.

People who've played the same role and the same champions don't suddenly get really good at other roles/champs. It's not the same logic as an IP change, because that just means you have a different computer.

You say this isn't about jealousy ...but i have my doubts regarding the accuracy of that statement.

There is no way for a player to diffidently know is another random player is boosted. Sudden rank changes, play style changes or anything related to that is not a clear indication or "eveidents" of boosting.

The only people that can actually make the claim a account has been boosted is Riot themselves due to the information they have access to.

ANYONE else Publicly calling out someone as being boosted and that trying to make a case against them is akin to a "witch hunt"
