Champ select toxicity and legal dodging

If someone say steals a teammates champion intentionally, bans a teammates champion intentionally, and makes it very clear they're going to troll and you're in this for the long run, you should be able to somehow legally dodge. Especially in ranked. You're avoiding a bad situation before it starts. Being able to do a majority vote would be nice. So in Solo/Duo, if 3/5 players voted for a dodge, everyone would leave the champ select punishment free. It lets the troll go unscathed too which kinda sucks but at least they don't ruin a ranked game. Or something else I don't know, but being punished for this seems wrong.

I'm not defending dodging in general. I'm defending dodging troll players.

I agree to this. I get annoying people who instantly just give up in champ select because of a certain pick on either our team or the enemy. Would honestly avoid the game altogether.

It's not a bad idea, It could be usefull sometimes, but it could also lead to ppl voting to leave bcus they see a shaco jungle and they don't like shaco jungle and decide they want a new jungle.

Pick and ban order exist for a reason. You are randomly placed in an order 1-5 with the rest of your teammates. Each one has some different tradeoffs.

Highest pick order has a very good chance of getting to play/ban the champ they want to play/ban. They have a good chance, also, the enemy will counterpick their lane.

Lowest pick order has a very good chance of being the one to be able to counterpick the enemy. The downside is their preferred champ may get picked or banned by a teammate/enemy before they pick.

Bottom line is that pick order is considered a more important mechanic due to the stress and nuances it provides to the champion select process. There is no way (aside from someone saying it in the chat) that you can even begin to think they'll troll, and then them saying it in select and doing it in game are two very different things. If you choose to dodge to avoid that situation, that is your choice, but you face dodge penalties because at a minimum you wasted 2-5 minutes of other players' time (at least 20-30 minutes total across players).

No thanks, we don't need lobby time to go exponentially up. Dodging once in a while is a slap on the wrist. Use it as needed.
