My Apologies, To Riot and beyond.

I just want to own my mistakes and take a moment to say I'm sorry Riot. You gave me a chat restriction and stripped all my honor and I was mad. Just like the game in question I should of just walked away. Not write in tickets and make posts claiming I was unjustly punished. Whether I was or not right the punishment was minor in the scheme of things and I shouldn't of wasted our resources with a ticket and emails. In the end I've been playing League for like 7 years, and for it to take that long for the trolls to bait me enough is kind of an accomplishment. I've spent the past 13? games or so since the restriction playing a bit different, like I'm a step back. Its actually provided a stoicism and clarity I have been able to take advantage of.

Mad respect for Rioters Frenchy and Eric who got back to my tickets and emails fast despite them being... Redundant.

Just had to make this post because

A: If their is going to forever be a post by me bitching about a chat restriction then I want one owning up to my needless reaction as well.

B: I read through all the recent posts in this sub when it happened to me and while 97% of them had no business making a post and hella deserved punishment, I know their are guys like me out there that feel baited as all hell. And to those guys don't hate on Riot. The system isn't perfect but where is it ever? Just own the fact that you could of done better.

You could of done better.

You will feel a lot better when you admit this and move on. Accountability is whats missing from the world. Fairness is what it never had. Bless!

Disclaimer: I've never been banned, chat restricted or anything of that sort so my comment is purely objective.

I feel like losing your honor because of a chat restriction is going a bit too far. Just because you slip up once doesn't mean you should get everything taken away from you. Imo honor should only drop to 0 with 14-day bans or maybe with the second chat restriction.

Enjoy your future games mate. Keeping calm does boost your chances of winning anyway so if you, like me, value victory and the feeling of it you will have a better time playing from now on. Good luck and most importantly HAVE FUN. P.S. Riot should really fix the system in some way, but actually having people going through reports manually is not cost effective in anyway. So I do not know exactly how they can make this more fair. Maybe find a way to review permabans even if it is once every 6 months and you need to get a number of upvotes to have your case reviewed. Could even make a spectacle out of it with Rioters in Judges outfits streaming live reviewing of cases. Just have a couple days per year dedicated to reformed players.

The First Step of recovering from a ban is noticing your mistake. You owned up to it like a Champion my dude! Ignore the players who try and trigger you, giving in and standing up for yourself is the first thing any of us want to do. Sadly it hurts us for standing up because the players that try to trigger are the ones convincing everyone to report you. Add me and lets spread Good Vibes anytime. I was once toxic and have reformed entirely. Positivity is THE ANSWER!!!
