@Riot Support. Does this merit further action?

When a player gets so enraged at you, that their flaming of you goes beyond the scope of the game and lands in the "personal" territory, such as being told your a %%%got who sucks bodily extremities or you are another bodily member, that's when it is time to use the report feature, no doubt.

But when the person sends you a friend request with the sole intention of continuing the flaming, is it alright at that point to submit a ticket on the website with screenshots? I ask this because there is no way to further report the person for doing such things and, well, frankly, at that point they have it coming to them.

You can always submit a ticket under general questions, for literally anything that concerns you about the game.

Be warned, though, that those kinds of tickets almost never result in any action from the team.

As Disregardable said you are free to submit a ticket for any game related concern.

But my suggestion is that if a player devolved that much in the match, don't accept their friend request afterwards. In fact I usually block players like that.

Sure you can submit a ticket and pursue it further.

However, the best thing is to NOT accept the friend request from someone who clearly had nothing nice to say to you.

Unless you thought they were adding you to apologize but I highly doubt that.
