Honor system tweaks?

I'm not sure but I think there should be a path to losing honor not just by punishments but through gameplay that isn't necessarily punishable but still irksome. Also there should be less emphasis on the guy that carried that particular game and more emphasis on behavior. (Not complaining about it, just throwing out ideas that crossed my mind.) As it stands I get an honor almost every game for almost no reason sometimes and other times the jerk that carried gets honored simply because of his score. I think carrying is definitely important but an honor system is for behavior, not skill. I don't exactly know what to do about it, or if it's fine the way it is, but it would also be interesting to see different types of honor systems in place for different honorable behaviors too. Some players don't tilt but stay quiet, others carry hard, and then there are those that tell jokes and inspire teammates but as it stands the end result seems to be the same. Different color ribbons seems kind of dumb because it was already sort of done before and different rewards seems unfair, but I was just throwing it out there that in a matter of time everyone except those that were reported and punished would be honor 5 and there would be no real value in having a high honor due to the different ways one can approach honor.

The way I understand it, one doesn't lose honor. One would not gain honor. Theoretical example: Player says "GG EZ" after every game. They won't be able to level up honor but won't lose honor either.

My personal speculation: A player will not naturally reach level 5. A level 5 will have no "irksome" offenses and an above average honor count.

Hello.

The way I see it people honor the one they remember, if no one talked they'll probably honor the carry (or the champ/skin/nickname if they're weird like me). I really think (but maybe you can prove me wrong) that if someone is really enjoyable he'll get the honor over the others, but when you come to the screen and you feel no one was nice you might just go "well, I don't know.... Annie was good I guess".
