This bothers me...

It really frustrates me when you have an AFK and you ask everyone to report him after the game, but all the enemy players just say stuff like 'nah' or 'why would I report the person that helped us win?'

It's not fair to the team with the AFK in the first place, so why can't you try to do at least something to make the enemy team feel better? If the enemy has a leaver I always report them and tell them that I'm sorry about the AFK. But most people just don't seem to do this. AFK'S ruin games, and sooner or later you're going to get one on your team, so why not take every action to get them removed from the potential players you could be matched with?

omg this is so funny y'know i've afked NOT because i wanted to but because either my power went out my internet went out or stuff like that i never ragequit so why report them if they afked and didnt rage? lmao, it wont do much just sayin cause if they have just 1 AFK match then riot wont punish them 1 afk within quite a few or 2 afks in quite a few HOWEVER if they have 3 afk games then riot will punish

I got two on my team last game. The first never entered the game, and the second collapsed under their crushing defeatism and went active AFK on us. Meanwhile I was the support and I was leading in kills for most of the game. WHILE being hyperfocused by the enemy team. In Ranked.

I hate defeatism.

While I agree with your premise OP, let me address this statement directly:

"It's not fair to the team with the AFK in the first place, so why can't you try to do at least something to make the enemy team feel better?"

The answer is because the ranked experience is overwhelmingly miserable, where you literally have to hit the lottery to get a team that isn't comprised of at least 1 troll/feeder/AFk/rage quitter/toxic flamer if you queue solo/duo.

The opposing team has hit the lottery on the day you got the AFK on your team, and they're going to enjoy it.

Lets not convince yourself with the use of "most" here. You know it deep down that this only happens to you once in a blue moon, and most the time they are like you instead.

Now if you were asking to report a feeder instead, then I'll most likely say "no" as most people don't "intentionally" feed. They may just suck and not know how to come back, but most the time, they aren't intentionally feeding.
