Hi Everyone,

So my account was just permanently banned. I know this because when I tried to log in, it said "permabanned, please check the email associated with this account for more information."

I have checked the email address that I verified with this account, and it has received zero mail from riot. The last time I got an email from them was over a survey a long time ago.

BY THE WAY, I have never said a word on this account, true to my username and its intention. I firmly 100% believe I have done nothing warranting a permanent ban. I get reported constantly however, for "verbal abuse" or "harassment". Now I'm not perfect, I have ragequit/connection issued a game or two in my time, we all have. And if I got a 5-10 minute leaverbuster I served it no problem.

People have always harassed me in game, trying to get me to talk, and then rage at me any time I do poorly, trying to report me for "refusing to communicate," which I can quote riot many times for saying that the ping system is effective for communication, which I use to the fullest extent.

Since I did not receive an email and no text could possibly be cited, the only clear reason riot would do this is:

Riot does not actually review any cases and bans players permanently without warning simply because toxic players are abusing the report system. Also, they probably completely ignored that I was honored as often as reported.

The only other possible reason I can think of is that sometimes if we already lost (like I'm dead at fountain or the team already agreed to surrender) then I'll sell and buy all tears because it's funny and is the only way for my character who never speaks to express my salty emotions. It's all for fun and I have never played a ranked game.

So, uh, can I get a rioter to defend their actions and explain why I was perma banned with no warning and no email citation for literally never saying a word and always receiving the positive player end of season rewards for being a model league citizen?

To the contrary, we still review a number of cases on a daily basis for acts of trolling. This is especially important because our current toxic chat and intentional feeding detection systems are only as smart as the current live data we have shared with them. By reviewing new cases for behaviors that we're not currently tracking we can feed this data back to the PB Development team who can add it to our current detection methods. A cycle that we expect to go on forever as new trolling behaviors are created and adopted by toxic players.

Your current case wasn't found by our PB detection systems but it was hand reviewed by someone in Player Support. The account was locked because the degree of your behavior and the frequency it was occurring was creating a terrible experience for other players. Because these bans are 100% reviewed manually, a reform card is not sent. You're free to contact Player Support for more details.

In your case, you are correct when you said you didn't chat, but your in game behavior was often much worse then a few toxic words. This wasn't behavior in one or two games, but a traceable pattern that goes back a few months. Intentionally feeding, blowing summoner spells at random times, buying multiple boots, multiple tears, teleporting into base and running back and forth and of course, the non-stop pinging that you would do to your team mates. In fact, when you get really upset it looks like you just decide to ping all the time stopping only for the forced cooldown period and then starting back up again. Even when asked to stop you continue to do it for no real tactical reason. Perhaps to force an early surrender so you can get to the next game since you know that pings are not currently mutable?

Regardless that behavior isn't acceptable and intentionally trolling games and ruining them for others can and will result in your account being locked.

I'd say that there is a good chance you deserve a ban.

For example, I looked you up on op.gg and immediately saw a bunch of games where you had nothing but a bunch of Tears.

Now, maybe you bought those Tears at the very last second. Lots of people do that. So I check.

In your last TF game where you had a bunch of tears, you started buying multiple Tears at 23 minutes, but the game didn't end until almost 28 minutes. So thats 5 minutes of multiple Tear trolling. People don't like that - its a legit reason to report.

Now I only checked that one tear game, so MAYBE all those other nothing but Tear games were bought at the last second. But it would be a pretty big coincidence if only your most recent game happened to be the only game that you trolled.

There are a lot of reasons to get banned other than toxic chat, and if you do stuff like buying all Tears well before the game ends, you are probably going to get banned.

O..M..G.. you are that guy.. you are that guy that keeps pinging when asked to stop.. You are that guy that if you are losing you just quit.. not just quit but refuse to keep playing.. how many games did you hang out at the base as your team slowly lost without you.. how many times did you run into the enemy to feed? how many times did you buy lots of item 3070 because your team didnt surrender when you wanted them too.. i have always wondered if these people where punished.. Thank you.. Thank you .. Thank you.. so much for posting this... i am now going to buy RP as a thank you to riot.. not to single you out because i have dealt with people who do this on a regular bases and i feel helpless in dealing with them. now i will get that warm and fuzzy for the rest of my reports.. i thought it was just an empty hall i was tossing reports in .. but now i realize there is someone looking at the pile of complaints.

i know why you have low deaths.. because you just sit at base.. i know ...

i want to hug you so much to say thank you for showing me that someone is doing their job.. thank you..

i am no saint.. but i still try to win.. some games i am literally dead weight playing a new champion.. and the flak i have received for it trying something new... but man.. when i look at your match history.. ..

Learn from this.. just Learn from this moment and understand .. that stuff you do that you think wasnt reportable.. it turns out to be it is..

and you have had your post also viewed by a rioter and commented on with an actual tailored comment.. do you know how many people beg for this on a daily basis.

Your best bet is to submit a support ticket. You aren't very likely to get a riot response here and no one else can help you with this.

I doubt it. If a game company were to ban it's players for either of those reasons, even if they were habitual, the game company would quickly gain a very bad reputation and lose players by the thousands every day. No company wants that.

Send in a support ticket. I have a sneaking suspicion you may have received something meant for someone else. I have had that happen before in another MMO out there. After asking for clarification, the error was corrected and my account was cleared.

That or there is something more going on here than you are telling us. In any case, send in your ticket. I doubt even the moderators could help here.

What will I do now, you ask? Dedicate as many computers, as many accounts, as many IP addresses to ruining as many games as physically possible. If the community wants a troll, I'm going to give them the greatest most feared troll they have ever seen. When I decide what my alias will be, I will let you know. It must be short so that the thousands of accounts I will make will have the same name, and a corresponding number as to which incarnation of account I am using.

Please, if you do this they will catch you ~ Don't believe Riot can't figure out this ruse ;)

And dont waste your time counter trolling man... there are still plenty of trolls already and no one will really notice..

i actually run solo and i know what you are talking about with the 4 man Pre-made games.. sometimes i just have to walk away.. not in game though .. i play thru and dont spam ping people ..

like i said man... you actually know what you are doing so i do question if that was your only or first account.. i have seen gold players with less patients.. what is your actual elo if you dont mind me asking?

Tbh whenever I see people on here saying they are banned for no reason, it usually turns out that there are plenty of reasons they conveniently didn't mention

Refusing to Communicate with team would be the real big issue, as long as you make your case you're fine. But seriously this is a team game and typing would have probably gone a long way in most of those games you simply rage quit from without a word.
