Aram Players replaced by bots? Feels like it (Serious)

I only play Aram and sometimes Co-op Vs AI to teach friends the game. Recently though, i've seen strange behavior from people in Aram matches. On both my team and the enemy team, I see people just stand in specific spots all grouped together and sometimes cast their abilities at nothing. They also tend to nosedive into the enemy solo often enough.

I'm wondering if Riot has an experiment going on to develop smarter bots by putting them through games or something.

Bots occupy the 600-800 MMR range in ARAM. If you play those games out, and win, you'll fairly quickly move past them.

When Bots are banned more quickly, it does two things. It increases feedback, allowing bot makers more iterations to avoid detection. And, it increases the number of bots that are deployed at any given time.

In every animal, and humans are included in this, increased infant mortality increases birth rate. The same thing works with bot accounts.

Banning accounts prior to sale, therefore does only bad things, if you don't want more bots.

Banning accounts after a sale hurts demand for botted accounts. Reduced demand leads eventually to reduced supply.

You are correct: ARAM is full of actual bots! It's an annoying problem tied mainly to people who level up accounts to level 30 via ARAM and then sell them. Riot goes through and clears out bot accounts in waves, so hopefully a new purge will happen soon.

more than likely, but hey, who doesn't throw random spells at nothing from time to time, I usually do it to either charge tear or waste time when nothings happening at that moment.
