Thank you to chase shaco for not completely losing his mind and getting us these clips. Ban the lucian rushing spear and pinging the same bush for first blood 2 games in a row. Jax Openly DDoS's the second game. I had also linked his op.gg but Periscope was so kind to remove it so give the video a watch and you'll see the players name!

The worst part of it, but I guess you'd only see it if you weren't as sensitive as most people seem to be is: ChaseShaco will probably get banned for what he said in that game when it's completely justifiable. You have some people straight up, straight up hitting you in the face. There's no greater disrespect than wasting someone else's time. It's the lowest of the low.

Yet you are not allowed to say anything.

At all.

Zero. Nada. Riot will look at the game and say "alright, this guy flamed, let's get him, boys". To me, this is ludacris and I wish Riot will change because often times this game puts you in a position where you're driven to madness.

There you have someone clearly messing with RIot's services (1) and destroying, utterly destroying people's time (2), yet you are not able, not allowed to say anything.

Report all the people and the matches in tickets, not on boards.

Yeah because ddos'ing isn't a federal crime or anything, and it took him going back and showing everyone the footage to be able to see clearly how it worked the first time, let alone getting him in repeat matches. It's only really gonna happen in high elo, where you see the same people every game, show all proof you've got at this point since it's so easy to pay for wins, get people up in arms about it until rito does something

Still, the report happens through support tickets. Boards have no power to get anyone punished.

Outrage all you want on these boards, but no reports = no review. No review = no punishment.

For sure send in a report, prolly submit a ticket as well, but if this whole nubrac/nb3 thing has shown anything riot doesn't give two shits about the summoners code for some people, and i'm willing to bet if those accounts are buying skins then they'll probably skate by a lot easier without public notice

Did we already forget about the teemo support situation? Multiple players have already reported teemo for what he was doing but nothing was done till Nightblue had to do what he did.

The support team is worthless unless you have connections.

Reports trigger reviews, not punishments.

When they have accumulated enough evidence to be sure of unsportsmanlike conduct, Riot will pull the trigger.

Not an outrage, simply a post to expose someone who is cheating and ruining this game. That way others can file complaints against the guy as well. More reports = more reviews = punishment

The result of the review is the same regardless of how many times the game was reviewed.

Network guy here. Let's not confuse DDoS with whatever was happening to this game - which was a disruption to just the game. Shitty thing to do, but this is not a DDoS.

Network Security guy here, and this is DDoSing more likely than not. Just because your not smashing the host with a fully rooted Unix server doesn’t mean that their won’t be any issues that arise. TBH in gaming it’s better for trolling purposes to hit someone with lower power as constant reconnects and disconnects happen without completely knocking one out of the game they are playing. Also helps to hide cheating in games as it doesn’t show that someone left the game once it’s over. PS the guy kept afking and as soon as he started too the network issues arise. Very coincidental then if not. LOL

I'm sorry Periscope, but I will continue to expose any cheaters in every game I play, not even just League of Legends. If you didn't Notice, you have 10+ downvotes and for a reason. You can use this board as evidence for the support tickets I'm sure were submitted. Riot is the ONLY game company I know that would tell its clean player base to not expose such acts. Talk about embarrassing. I'm all for the innocent until proven guilty thing, but when you have a tape of the guy robbing the store and it gets taken public for others to see you don't see police respond with "Hey man what hes doing is illegal don't post that." Think about that for a while.

The board still has rules. This is not the place to "expose" anyone - reporting it to Riot support is the best course to get the problem solved.

It's 18 downvotes (as of right now) out of nearly 10,000 views. He's a volunteer moderator of these boards, and he has to apply the rules without bias - that means no naming and shaming, regardless of whose name it is. This is not real life, this is not a robbery. This is a video game, and a board that has its own code of conduct.

If you want the equivalent analogy, Riot support would be the "police," and they're not going to publicly disclose any action taken against any player's account either.

These rules are bad you know. Unlike on Steam you can't change your summoner name at any time, and you can't change it to someone else's. This rule just protect cheaters. Put them all out to see, and let the players' hatred go with it. In my experience reports are worthless. They simply don't have the manpower to check all reports, and the Tribunal which could at least take the chat reports away is gone. They are so focused on punishing the insignificant small crimes, that they got no time for the real ones.

Small crimes: griefing, verbal abuse, toxic language. Any player can solve these with a mute button, and they might not even have any effect on the game itself.

Big crimes: leaving/afking, cheating, int. feeding. These stuff has direct effect on the game, and there is no possiblity, that it doesn't. If someone rragequit, then his team's winning chance will be lowered at 100% of the time.

Their name contained a website that offered services involving breaking the terms of service, win trading, boosting, and/or account service.

Additionally, sending in a ticket or reporting their name via the post game is the best way to have the players behavior looked into.

Looks more like a selling site (boosting is listed as "soon"). Besides, banning these accounts doesn't actually stop the problem though cause they just go and make another one, hence the not so subtle name of said account in the first place. If Riot would put more into their ID banning it might be something that could help cut down on this stuff more but they seem to do that very little, only like a last resort of keeping high profile players out of the game for as long as they feel like monitoring it.
