As we all know the punishment system is automated and a bot is the one who sets out the bans and the restrictions. So this thread will consist of two things i would like a response to if thats alright. I was chat restricted once for 5 games and that was around january. I played the game for 3 years and like i said i was never restricted for anything. I got restricted for being a bit rude to the enemy leblanc for a joke. It went to far i know and i did my time with it. But now this new system came out and after every game i see you are unallowed to recieve any keys or cases due to behavior. So my first question is how long am i not aloud to received anything. Now my next question is how long till your afk que timer goes down. I know afking in games i bad and it ruins the experience for your team mates but things happen in real life that we cant control. I live with a tight schedule and when i get my 2 hours to play league i make sure i stop playing around 5:40 because i know i wont have time. But sometimes games last longer then expected and i have to leave. Im ok with the 5 games for the amount but 20mins for everytime is insane. If you afk from one game every mouth or so due to real life and everytime i log back in i see the 20mins and im like when do you get a free pass or just a less lengthy que. 10 mins or 5mins would be nice for people who are on bad shedule and can only play one or two games every few days.

We're working on putting out a better explanation for this. For players that are punished by the Instant Feedback system and work off the punishment, they will still be restricted from earning Hextech chests or keys for a period while the system ensures that they have reformed their behavior. There is no fixed interval here - if you continue to play with sportsmanlike behavior, you'll eventually get back into good standing. We're looking into making a player's status more clear/visible to help avoid this kind of confusion.

So basically, it depends on you for how long it takes to get access to Hextech again. You need to stop being toxic over a long period of time.

The same is actually true for your AFK queue- it will never go down if you don't stop AFKing.

yea but the thing is i 100% bet you dont get reformed if someone reports you and we all know people report people for no reason just because they can. People say report for being toxic if you say they made a bad call or the idea was dumb and that person does report you.

It's best to avoid criticizing others in the game. People are smart enough to know when they messed up, even if they don't say anything about it. They don't need you to tell them. You should keep your chat positive and focused on making progress in the game.

Like i said it was one game where i was legit toxic to someone on purpose but when you have a teammate who wants to FF at 20 he does what ever he can do to ruin your game. And at the end of the game they lie and say report this team for being toxic. If you say "Hey i think we should of got baron recalled and then pushed mid i felt like going mid was kinda dumb." and then the person who is already angry for lossing the game will say "report ____ for being toxic"

The ban system is controled by a bot that bans after a number of people report without looking into the reports

It is if u and 4 other friends report one person no matter if they said something or not. And if u get the same person again and all of u report he will get punished no mattet what

No. Did you not read what the Arbiter told you above? Check out the link for more info if you need but false reports OR multiple reports per game do not increase the likelihood of getting slapped w/ restrictions or bans.

If it is a false report, it does NOT count no matter how many people report; the system has a false positive rate of about 1:6000.

Also, if multiple people report a person in one game, it still counts as one incident and is not weighed more than a single report.

Lastly. people who abuse the report system by reporting where a report are not warranted, start losing weights of their reports. If someone abuses the report feature, their reports will matter less and less.

Personally, every single time you leave a game you are ruining the game for your team and deserve the restrictions/penalties which result from that.

This isn't true. Well, that it bans based on number of reports. It is automated.

But come on, it's 2016. You don't really think computers are that dumb, do you? The entire system is designed around throwing out false reports. If you're talking about verbal abuse reports, the system parses for certain behavior and keywords that players report a lot; the system has a false positive rate of about 1:6000.

Yes i do and it is. There is a bot that checks for 3rd party programs to see if ir hacking. Well i have had my friend get kicked out of league becUse of 3rd party programs and the program he had open was skype. The system is broken people say this all the time there needs to be a new system.

You are all over the place. The thread is about a chat restriction now you're talking about hacking bans? Your friend didn't get banned for Skype, and it is a completely different system than the one we are talking about anyway.

Yes, it is an automated system, but it has the ability to check for false reports, where the false reports get thrown out.

Though, you could choose to ignore everything we say, as that is your belief and your free will.

People report people just b/c they can; sure. They can abuse the report feature.

Their reports, if false, won't do anything to the person reported and further their reports will lose credibility in the eyes of the system.

So, I'm not sure what your complaint is w/ that. Riot has a perfect system for addressing people who abuse the report feature.

The time is variable per person. If you show reform it'll eventually lift, though that could take several months if you continue the negative behavior. Riot NeuroCat said they will be adding something to make your "reform status" visible so this is more clear.

I don't really know, but when your leaver status drops down you'll get a notification saying so (it won't ever go down if you keep leaving). If you are on a tight schedule I'd suggest playing a bot or ARAM match instead of SR, and if you don't want to do that I'd suggest just not queueing up; as much as the leaver penalty sucks for you, it's even worse for all the people in the games you're ruining. Like i said i can only play from around 4 to 6:30 and thats about 2 to 3 games depending on time. And when you get a game thats 70+ minutes and its already 5:30 and its 50mins in and like i said its not every game but once a month you get a game that takes longer then expected.

Once a month is good enough to keep you on leaver buster's 20 mins queues.

It took a looonnnnnngggg time of no-AFKing for me (real life issues as well) to get the notification from the leaver buster system that I was clear. I think you can assume 3 months dropping a tier is safe.

i was chat restricted for 5 games im not apart of the people who got restricted for a week and are asking to earn stuff i will admit what i said to the enemy leblanc which i thought was funny was wrong. (i called the person a cheap hooker) and thats why i got restricted. I played the game for 3 years and that was my first ever punishment and im never the racist guy in the games.
