Tired of the toxic crap in ranked every game. Take people who are being punished out of ranked completely until they've reformed. It might encourage being a little friendlier or at least keeping your mouth shut when you're raging/tilted.

I can caution a very good guess that they rarely play normal games/probably take the game too seriously. You think they are going to play normal games for real and be a good person while they are restriction :)? nah.
Restrictions go by game not time so it's in there best interest to passively troll and make sure games end in 20 mins for faster punishment removal.

I see the point but i would rather have the toxic/rager/troll stuck in normals. I don't get even slightly upset in a normal unless someone goes afk for an extended period of time. I get that being toxic isn't acceptable anywhere but i would think taking the lesser of two evils should be reconsidered.
Id rather see this be attributed to dc/afkers. You should be given a one game ranked restriction if you dc/afk from a game, not as a punishment, but as a service to potential future team mates. To make sure you're connection has stablized before lettijg you go back to ranked
What? no... if anything they need to remove punishments for toxicity... it certainly doesn't prevent people from being toxic to me, and when I become toxic back because I get so frustrated with someone, I get banned. and I'll be damned if I can't play the game because some asshole wanted to troll me and I fall for it and get mad and say shit back... your mentality is what is wrong with society... a bunch of pansies that can't handle a few insults...If I dont like something someone says, I DONT report it... I come back at them with stuff, or I mute them if I can remember to do so before I lose my temper... but snitching to riot is just plain being a little bitch and YOU should be the one banned from ranked if you can't handle a few words
I spent 8 years in the military so i can handle a few words. The thing is i also learned how to follow rules and if this is riots policy then who are you to say what i am doing is wrong. Some of us just like to play a game without having a bunch of negative bullshit going on the whole time. If it's reportable it is reportable for a reason. "Your mentality is whats wrong with society" - Having the decency to not say someone should kill themselves or their mother should have swallowed is not what is wrong with society. The entitled generation that thinks they can do whatever the fuck they feel like and hide behind "free speech" or just blatantly live in their own little bubble without being conscious of how your actions can affect others is whats wrong.
