So I made a profile for every player by rank: rank matters.

So in this board there have been many arguments for "people use rank to measure their dicks", this coming mostly from Bronze and low Silver. So I made this profile which I use whenever I play with anyone and decide if their input is valid or just garbage:

Here is the profile of every player by their ranks:

  • Challenger/Masters: Great player, dominates their champion or roles and excels at applying every aspect of the game, their dedication or skill will determine their rank.
  • Diamond: Good player. Has good mechanics and knows how to efficiently apply game concepts, but still makes wrong calls when it comes to the game which hampers his progress. This rank is the one which divisions matter the most having huge skill difference from division to division.
  • Platinum: Experience player. It's a player with good mechanics and enough experience or skill to reach this rank.
  • Gold: Minimum standard. It's the minimum objective if you play ranked. Basically has the knowledge and knows how to apply it, but lacks mechanics or experience to reach higher ranks.
  • Silver: Average player. Just learning the game or with some but unclear knowledge of how the game works, doesn't have enough experience or knowledge to take important decisions based on the game, sometimes follow orders but doesn't know yet how to apply the concepts they hear.
  • Bronze: Don't know what they are doing or refuse to learn the game properly by not following the meta or advice from higher elo. They have weird thoughts of how the game works like "Flash is not required, I pick teleport instead" or "every summoner is useful in the right scenario" or "every champion can play any role if you are good at it". Doesn't really care about the game, plays for "fun" because learning the game would involve using their brain.

If anyone has any suggestion of how they look at every rank feel free to comment.

TBH I'm not ranked and i don't think like a bronze player does. i have the mind of a silver-gold player but i react too slow and usually forget about things like how thresh has a pull thats really fucking annoying

Kind of unfair to categorize people. While rank may give some indication of someones skill, it does not truly represent skill. For example, you meet a kid who is bronze. You lean he only played his placements and stopped playing ranked. You check his normal games and he has about a 70 percent win rate against diamonds. He plays against diamonds because his normal mmr is so high. See where my drift is going?

you're better off throwing everything that comes from a < plat 2 mmr player straight into the garbage can
