Do you guys really act on your boards reports?

One time I said something like speak english please when I was legitimately asking someone to speak english and I got a warning. People say boosted, trash, etc etc, I have one guy stalking the fuck out of me and harassing me on a daily basis and my reports do nothing. Are you guys just biased or what?

Welp, looking at this thread history I see I'm a bit... late to the party. I digress, I've honestly been preoccupied with IRL issues so I'm a tad bit out of the loop in terms of the community members and such. From what I am understanding, a lot of people have issues with the things moderators have done or deletions/warnings issued. While I cannot speak for others, if there is any time where I have banned/deleted/warned someone here that would like to upfront ask me a question or even general questions about the moderators, feel free to here! I'd be glad to answer.

Also, as for ignoring your reports/having a bias, I can tell you we try to be as unbiased as physically possible whenever we do our moderator duties, and we never avoid punishing someone due to them being a friend of ours or someone we want to protect or some type of bias against the reporter. If we see behavior breaking our Universal Rules, we take action against it to keep the Boards a positive place for everyone.

If you have any questions about mod actions taken against a post or comment you have made in the past, feel free to also approach us mods on the Discord here!

If you have questions about moderation actions you can actually speak real-time with the arbiters (the moderators for this sub-board) on the Moderation Discord. Just follow the instructions there and they can speak with you in private in real time.

calling someone bad at the game is not an insult, for normal people. board mods are oversensitive over anything not revolving the game i once got a warning for telling someone to man up.

I think there's a difference between "speak english" and "I'm sorry I don't understand that language, can you translate it into english for me?"

Idk... I got banned for a few days once for adding to a conversation on homophobia. Apparently, it was borderline "hatespeech" lol. Bullshit. Can't speak your honest thoughts anymore in this world. I know this is just a forum, but you can't really deny that it's sort of a reflection on society in general. A bit of a microcosm. But I don't mind, at least I wasn't permanently banned, and I could see why it was not allowed. But it was already the discussion (so yeah, political whatever can't talk about it, but it was a whole discussion on it) and it definitely wasn't hateful. It was bias in my honest opinion. Not like I'm salty and saying that just because it was me, I'm pretty good at taking my self bias out of the equation when looking at things.

I've also had posts directed at me with nothing more than insults to me. But I'm not gonna report em, because it goes against my personal beliefs. You can't ban people from a public forum just for being assholes and insulting people. If that's what they think, hey, that's what they think. Why ban them? Just be secure with yourself and pay no mind to people who don't even know you, insulting you.

P.s. your name looks familiar. I don't think we've had any friendly discussions lol. Just saying. Do you remember? I think we disagreed on something but I don't remember.
