Should Farm bots be tolerated?

So I have a question for the community,

So just to try out couple mechanics and play style for certain champs in bot, I realized there has been some eerily pattern for certain players in bot.

In other words, certain players NEVER talk or communicate. That's not all, I have observed that they hide behind minions and just spam spells and attacks towers even though they are getting hit and even after all the minions died.

I realized it was those farm bots that level up accounts. As usual I have reported every single one of them. However, what frightens me is that they are farming these "sale" account while ruining newbies game and i've seen them in 3 out of 5 game-ish.

So shouldn't Riot do something about these? Or nah?

P.S. Should I post the ID? Because I am not sure farming bots count as naming and shaming

If you could prevent bots, you would be a very rich person.

Heya Bans,

Riot does indeed welcome reports on players using bots and strongly encourages people to report them. To answer your question, they do indeed handle these cases.

It's one of those situations where they may not ban the lower level offender, but go after the root of the problem. For example, it more lucrative to arrest the drug manufacturer or smuggler than it is to arrest the drug dealer. They can always find a new dealer and the same applies to here - they can always make another account. What I am trying to say is, your reports do matter and it helps them identify which hosting service or which website/company is creating these programs so they can shut them down.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Galacius
