So I had a game today with one of the most foul players I've ever encountered

Started the game, things were normal. Then the jungler starts spam pinging his blue buff and saying

"Leash" "Leash" "Leash" "Leash"

The bot laners didnt leash. So he went bot lane and fed first blood on purpose "To teach you a lesson :)"

Then the rest of the game he flamed the bot laners for their deaths like "Oh wow you guys are really bad XD" or "Bet you wish you had a gank :)"

He maliciously ruined the game for the bot laners to stroke his own ego, adding little smileys to the end of each of his messages.

The worst part of all of this was, despite all of his flaming and feeding first blood, Mid and Top got extremely fed and we won the game anyway, which only made the Jungler go "Wow bot lane still has no kills XD" and "You needed daddy to come bot lane for that double kill after you died lol"

I checked his match history afterwards. I dont want to post his name in case that isnt allowed, but it was something extremely "Toxic player" styled and implies that he does this sort of thing a lot and has yet to be punished for it. Looking at his previous games, he's changed his name at least 3 times in the past few months, probably to try to avoid bans.

Is there some sort of way to stop players like this? Everyone left the lobby so quickly after the game ended that it was pretty clear that I was the only one who reported him for it. I know its probably too much to ask for some kind of email system where you can send screenshots and replays and such to Riot so they can see it for themselves, but if he's not being reported then he'll never be punished for doing things like this.

Its absolutely infuriating seeing players go out of their way to be assholes and not be punished for it. His actions alone didnt make me nearly as angry as the fact that he'll probably get away with it.

How can you tell passive-aggressive toxic behaviors from a match history ("does this sort of thing a lot")???

This is toxic no doubt, but hardly "extremely" toxic compared to other real straight-to-14-days toxic. He will go through the tiered punishment system IF his reported games hit a certain threshold over his overall games. If he's only doing this once or twice over a large amount of games, then yes, he will get away with it. There is leniency built into the system for general toxic cases like this. Changing names will not avoid that because Rito likes to hoard data and an account history of name changes is sure to be recorded and saved.

You've already reported him for that particular game. This is your run-of-the-mill general toxic and not one of the extreme case so further email your report will do nothing more. But if you still would like to, go send in a support ticket.

Love alone from hatred releases.
