So I'm an active league of legends player. And I enjoy to play ranked competitively. I am not the best, but I am steadily improving. I went from bronze 4 last season to silver 4 this season. Well today I played some ranked. First game of the day, support was afk. Yay 4v5. Next game, jungle and adc go afk. 3v5. It can't get worse right? No - next game, adc, support, and top are afk. I'm done.
DU Baymax1 votesthat sucks mate. I legitimately think there should be a system where if someone on your team goes afk, you don't lose LP for a loss. Although, that would be hard to implement effectively because it would be easily abused. There needs to be a way to combat this but frankly I'm at a loss for good ideas.

The thing that sucks is in that 2v5, I was playing zed. And I was 12/4 when we lost :(

Smite has thier FF @ 10 minutes
They recently added a condition where If a player is afk at the start (afk, disconnect, w/e) they have 5 minutes to reconnect, If the player doesnt reconnect, then the team can FF @ 5 min instead of 10.
So essentially riot could do the same thing and limit the frustration If 1 or more players are afk at start, they have x minutes to reconnect, or the team gets the option of /ff @ 10
and believe me, there is alot less toxicity on SMITE compared to League (Standard fare toxicity for every moba, but no where near as vile and hateful as the league community)

I do agree that the league community is one of the most toxic and hateful groups I've ever been a part of. In that zed game, this guy is like "wow fuckin faker wannabe pls" why you pick zed? And I'm like - because I picked someone I'm good with. He's like. Ur prolly bad loool nub

Damagefox1 votesAs I said, its a feature thats already added to SMITE (Worth checking out as A league alternative :D Educational too cuz they use actual gods (Currently: Roman/Greek/Norse/Chinese/Mayan/Hindu. Japanese coming this year)
They already implement. But sadly I feel like riot is too set in thier ways to do something like this. They have proven many times they dont care about reducing thier toxicity or combatting this narcissistic "all about me" attitude.
Players dont care about thier teams, Just "I have the most kills, so I am the best" and they will happily stab thier teammates in the back to get those kills. I am a support main and even I find myself less interested in really caring about my team. Because at the end of the game, if we lose, My team will brag about how they all played perfect and the loss is support's fault. Happens like clockwork. And I am getting sick of it. That excited "team player" part of me died long ago, just waiting for the husk to rot.
