I recently moved to a more rural area and as a result have a less stable internet connection than most people. This caused me to quit ranked forever :(
I was nearly finished a blind pick game and DC'd in the last bit of the game. Completely out of my control.
Thankfully leavebuster caught me red handed! Justice has been served and I have been punished for being the afking scumbag that I am. (pic related)

They do really need to fix it seems like almost every other game someone is having trouble with ping and/or D/C.

Maybe they can factor in user statistics like - how good is this player's connection? What is his average ping like? How often does he need to reconnect to a game? Maybe his DC was unintentional!

there are 9 other people you are playing with. even if you aren't DCing on purpose, you're affecting all 9 of them. it's your own duty to make sure your internet connection is stable before you play. its not like you get penalties for disconnecting once every now and then from accidents, it's only when it happens frequently that you get tagged.
