can we take a moment and appreciate that his been one of the strongest solo q champions forever due to his extremely simply but stat filled kit? like he is the amumu of support. (ps if u never played taric top lane or full ap mid try it today you wont get chance tomorrow)
You just queue top/jungle, and hope for last pick. Then, when you see 5 ADCs(isn't this meta just the BEST? /s) you can pick Taric, use that full armor rune page that you have, and completely stomp them.

Taric is my third highest mastery Champion, I know his power. I am scared about the rework, I really like Taric...
I'm not sure about the "forever" bit. He was a strong top laner when you could build mana/armor tank for his passive, that was when I played him. And he was a permaban in what I remember to be elo hell (900-s when elo was still a number) but he seemed to have fallen out of popularity lately. Only seen 3 in the past 4 months, one which I was playing myself lol. He might be strong but I think blitz and thresh seem to be overshadowing him in the support role (based on frequency of appearances anyway)
Most people never did this, but I tended to max E on him. 320 base damage burst at level 5? Awww yiss :3
