Hello I want to put a potential Fiora change forward.

Fioras damage range on her Q is simply to long.

Against melee champs they simply cant react due to her being 400 units away, extremely simlar to a gnar auto which is 425.

However ranged champions also have an extremely hard time punishing her due to Gnars auto range being 425.

To help give an idea of how small 25 units is, a melee auto attack like master yis or tryndamere is 125 units.

This means even a Gnar tries to auto her after using her Q ability he will just start the animation and cancel it due to her walking out of range.

Temmo is another example of a ranged champion and his auto attack range is 500. You would believe with this slightly higher range he would avoid the problems mentioned previously. However due to how teemos auto is programmed he fires the projectile at the end of the animation and not the starts like gnars leading to the same problem.

Another problem with her Q damage range being so wide is how she is able to attack champs as they are chasing her. This makes frankly 0 sense. Her damage has a range of 400 units and the dash itself is 500 units, so any champ that is able to go those 100 units in the dash animation will be hit. To put this into perspective pantheon and master yi at level one will always be hit by fioras q when chasing. And any champ with t2 boots will also be hit. I view this as extremely bad design like yoricks E lacking counter-play and a chance for the enemy to react. Melee range enemies generally don`t have the tools to get to her after casting q, and ranged ones simple seem to trip over their auto attack animation trying.

I believe the solution to this is pretty simple however.

I feel we could either make her q damage only have a range of 125 ( a melee auto ) this would allow melee champs to react to her and also she wouldn't have the range to hit enemies while dashing backwards (expect rare cases like pure movespeed yi).

Another solution I have is to make her teleport to her target after dealing damaging with q much like ekkos E ability, so this would allow her to keep the range however she will still have to put herself in an area where enemies can react and it would also prevent her from using q as an escape since it would put her next to the enemy.

Fiora's spell it self, does not heal you or due true damage, that is her passive, which her spell procs if you land it in the correct spot. Also it does put her in melee range. Also no you cannot proc fioras passive outside of Gnars or Teemos range, unless maybe you used w to proc a mark but if that was the case thats more of the fact that your not very good at dodging spells rather then being unfair.

Are you saying that after Teemo and Gnar start their attacking animation, it's possible to dash away and then they'll suddenly just stop cause you're now out of range?

So make the circle after the dash 125? Just so I understand you correctly.
