What is with all of the toxic players in League of Legends?

Every single game I play my entire team is toxic. It never used to be like this before. Usually you'd find like one or two players in a game that are toxic. Now its just every single game my entire team is toxic and all they do is spam ping and argue with each other. Then, they just afk or troll just to make you lose the game on purpose. Has anyone else noticed more of this lately? Or is it just the elo that I'm currently in or something?
