Demotion?

Is it possible to fall out of a league? I am a lowly Silver V player, and have had a few bad games in a row. Yet i'm still at 0 LP. I'm just wondering if there's any limit to the amount of losses before I'm dropped to bronze, or if there even is a demotion.

Also, any tips on how to improve winrate would be nice.

Yes, it is possible. However, getting demoted from a tier (Silver to Bronze) is a bit hard to have happen. In order to be demoted from Silver to Bronze, your hidden MMR has to be drop to a Bronze V level, which means that you're likely going to have to lose quite a bit of games before you get demoted.
