I made a post about this guy who keeps bothering me with elo boost offers but never mind . Ok i put a screen shot with his nick so the ppl can see his name and like don't accept his friend invite like i did and even tho i blocked him he still pops up and offers elo boost . So #RIOT took down my post , cuz i exposed that son of a gun nick-name . And that reminded me of soem shit i saw usually in my country News on the TV. There were an poisonous product that killed like 10 ppl and on the news no1 mentioned the name of the product or the manufacturer , the brand . So other ppl can die too not knowing they are eating poisonous milk , just to protect the brand name of some shitty company . Thats just WRONG. So that rule is the same concept protect the douche-bags and ass-holes on the normal players expense . They told me to put a ticket on RIOT Game support , ok i went there , and clicked the drop/select "request type " thingy and what i see... No report Game abuse or Report a Hack or something section , ofc there is a merch section but no hack or exploit section ...... Lats focus on improving the game and the playing conditions instead of defending the criminals , and finding ways to fill up our pockets ^^ Also if you add in game REPORT system outside endgame screen would be nice ty :)

I just compared the situations dude . Yeah no one life is at stakes but why protect the douches , and yeah pp l can contact him but if riot ban him b4 that happens , problem solved . More adequate reactions are needed , and how do you explain the lack of hack / exploit / someone is doing something wrong section in ticket requests ?

The comparison you make is over-blown. I never said they shouldn't punish the person who asked if you wanted elo-boosted, I merely explained why they would take down the thread. I even told you I tried to post and tell you to block the name out.

As for why they don't have a section specifically for that, This is a very good question that I'd like to know also.

Thing is, though, the Name-and-Shame rule isn't in place to protect trolls/cheats/liars/whatever.

It's in place to protect everyone else from being unfairly defamed.

It just so happens that they get lumped in alongside. Which is why Riot has an alternate approach that doesn't bear the same problem - Support tickets.

I saw that and posted to you to black the name out but before I could send it your thread was gone :)

Here's the thing right or wrong, you had the person's name up and if other people who wanted to elo-boost see it they could use it to contact them.

But, Your Not talking about something that can Kill a person, your post is/was about boosting ! I think this post is a bit over the top. Your thread got deleted that is all.

Choose "I have a question about the game" and probably choose in the category game/features, feedback/general question. If anything goes wrong they will just move your support ticket to he proper place!

You know what , i decided NOT to post anything :) Let the man make cash under rito's nose , wont be the first wont be the last , so who cares ... :) Peace OP.

Well....I care :) not so much about the person in question but about how you feel about it. If I offended you by saying that I thought you took this latest thread a bit further then needed I apologize.

I really don't want you to walk away from this feeling bad about it. You tried to do the right thing ! I really think it was a misunderstanding between you and Riot. So anyway, Peace out I hope you have a better day :)

Second you could have easily took the screenshot and contacted a support who could actually do something.

They did take a screen shot and posted it without blocking the name, it was deleted and op was told to send in a support ticket. OP is upset ( @riot?) and doesn't know what section in support to put it under. Honestly I'm not sure where I'd put it either, any ideals ?

Rules are still rule. First off no one should be adding people they don't know on their friends list. Second you could have easily took the screenshot and contacted a support who could actually do something.
