Duoing provisionals with a bronze 2 friend?

A friend and I have been duoing for my unranked account provisionals and we are currently 6-1. My friend is bronze 2 and we have been matched up against anywhere from s2-s5 players. I am curious as to what I would have to finish my provisionals to get ranked s3-s5. Will duoing with him for the rest of my matches highly effect the outcome of my placement? pls help!

well if your duoing with a bronze 2 friend you will probably be facing high bronze enemies and if you beat them and depending on your mmr from previous seasons you should place high bronze or above them. Placement records really mean jack compared to previous mmr and elo decay
