Hi people,

After playing for three seasons and being close to finally secure Gold (close to Gold before the Season reset), I have found that Elo-Hell exists. The concept should be applied to support mains living in high/low Bronze.

By the end of Season 5 I was placed in Silver 1 and was consistently playing with Gold placement. I find the experience really rewarding, I could feel how I was improving. I was about to hit gold when the hard reset came. Had bad games and ended in Bronze 2. After that, I found that I couldn't helps as much playing my usual supports (Raka-Taric-Zilean). I was losing a bit less than half of my matches, so at that rate it would have taken me months to get back to silver. I ended up switching to top lane with Nasus who I had never played with and now I am back to a decent enough spot to revert back to support (S4)

When your teammates are not able to farm, and will not listen to ping or calls it is an extremely slow process to get out. The only way to really improve your chances is to use an all -in support. Something that I do not excel at. I have seen the getting out of bronze videos, but the only one that attempts the feat through support is a guy named impakt. He spams zyra and annie. I'm sure I would have gone out eventually but the number of games you have to play to make a statistical difference in a low impact role is big, and I don't want to be in a toxic environment that long

TL DR Support is a complete horror-fest in bronze, if you want to get out this way you need to be in love with the role; it's going to require a lot of grind

Try playing a non-conventional support that can carry.
