I don't play ranked too often for the sake of my teammates because my internet is really bad sometimes, last season I only really played to stop from decaying and this season i'Il have about 8/10 games played for maybe a few months now, do I not lose anything since im unranked or if I play two more will I end up in low bronze because decay?
I thought they changed this so Plat and below don't decay anymore.
It might have been just for season 4 ending, but I thought it carried through.
I am also curious to this answer. I just hit Gold and planned to not play ranked till next season :/
Here is a link to the rank info i could find. I do think they changed it so that Plat and lower don't decay out of their tier but i do think you probably have to finish your promo's or you won't get your rank. After you get your placement unless your Plat or + i dont think you can decay out of your tier but you can fall down to rank 5 of what ever tier your placed if you dont play. At least that how i understood it but i can find the info that says it so i may be wrong.

Unless you are in Plat or above, you will not decay due to inactivity. That much I know for sure.
Also, if you are still in your provisional matches, i don't think you can decay, but I am not to sure of this.
Either way though, you will be safe from decay.
