Gnar Skins

Why is Gnar getting his 4th skin when there is a more popular and almost a year older champion who only has 3? I don't find it right that Gnar who hasn't really been meta that much is getting a skin over Lucian. A champion who has been the most played in his role for what seems most of his life in League. Now don't get me wrong I really like Gnar, I just don't want him to turn into Annie and Teemo, for when they get a new skin I see a bunch of complaining of "why is Annie getting another skin???".
