60 lp to series plus win?

how did i gain 40 lp from one win? i normally only get 21 per game any ideas?

I guess your mmr is so high that it gives you 40 lp per win or you win against really high elo players.

There are two more likely scenarios than getting 40 LP through a bug;

A) You're mistaken and had actually played another match for ~20LP since you last checked your total, possibly because you looked at your LP on a third party site which had not updated your LP amount yet.

B) Your MMR was high enough that it bumped you up. It's possible to go straight to your series or skip a division when your MMR is really high. This is rare, but you can see it in your profile on the right where it normally says "Reach 100 LP and win 2/3 3/5 games to advance".

it was a). when i played my first game of the day it was ranked.. and though i fed my butt off.. i thought it was a norm and i wont it.
