@Riot: Can queue-dodging please be a system similar to ARAM re-rolls?
After all, anyone who plays alone has an "All Random" team.
I dodged a game + - 8 hours ago on purpose, and now I simply ran out of time to pick and couldn't find my go-to support pick in a hurry because of a champion search flaw (the "type your search here" reminder is actual text that doesn't remove itself on-click and the auto-highlight clearly didn't work). I received a 30 minute queue penalty and -10LP.
Why do both the Time and League Point penalties increase, on top of the far too long 16-hour window for this snowballing punishment to reset? I don't sleep for 16 hours at a time, so you've brought negativity into my peaceful Sunday - thanks a lot. People also dodge to avoid going into a game where there's sure to be negativity and it's one of the few ways that people who are prone to tilting can escape the situation where they're provoked to commit the sin. While I understand the need to catch the other cases like dodging until your match-up is too incredible to lose, why punish any of the reasons for queue-dodging so severely?
The League Point loss doesn't seem that significant to me and I think that alone doesn't phase many people, but those long timers are quite harsh so throwing the League Point loss on there is arbitrary and excessive. What you've done with promo game dodges is fine, at least, I think so. Back to the timers. The "penalty timer that snowballs" concept is fine, but why is it 6 times more severe than the first penalty? Then after that it stays fixed?! You're better off with an actual, visible and clear button that says "Re-Qeueue." One Re-Queue after 8 hours, holding up to two stacks, is fine right? And if you still queue dodge after that, then down comes the hammer diplomacy. Hard.
Riot, you give us all sorts of limited resources to work with already. Bring the Queue-Dodge system out of the dark corner it's hiding in, please.
