The climb out of bronze

Note all stats based off lolking

Everyone talks about elo hell, does it exist, does it not exist, is it that you are bad and you don't see it or your team is really full of people who play worse than beginner bots.

When i first started playing ranked I did my first 10 games and got into low silver at around 1090 elo. in about a month of casual playing i dropped to 825 elo, and boy must i say the games i played sucked so bad, there was a point where i had 20 games straight of afkers, rage quitters, toxic player or trolls, there was nothing i could do to help a team who did not want to be helped. This is where i lost faith in ranked and i was already now in the bottom of the pit, bronze 5. each game i would gain about 9 point for a win and lose over 20 for a loss... i was stuck in a bad cycle so i slowed down on ranked games and practiced alot.

After a period of playing a few ranked games here and there and practicing i was able to slowly balance my points gain, i was winning around 65% of my games at the time and my score started to improve it was slow less than 100 elo in a month but it was a gain none the less i am now almost at 900 elo and still going, the one thing that started this whole improvement was i sat down and said wow i suck so bad at this game its not all my team i need to get better, now its all about being more calculated, map awareness, positioning, abusing blind spots, learning champions weaknesses, timing their cooldowns in my head, enemy goes mia from mid and your pushed in lane? count in your head how long it takes for the laner to walk that distance and go back to be safe. To me now its not about being that badass who goes all in at every point to me now its about being more calculated in all my moves.

One of the things i see alot is players blaming other players for their deaths, its never any one elses fault, if i notice im getting melted, im getting out. Another thing i see alot is when someone is losing lane they will continue to play as if they are still even with their enemy and end up getting bursted out and start "feeding" then blame the jungler for not ganking (even though he got you like 3 dragons solo >.> )

My tips might not be worth much coming for someone in b4 right now but here are some based off my experience **1. You dont need alot of damage to win games i have gotten quads and... very near pentas >.> dam lux ( i will eat your children you filthy wench ) with just item 3102 item 3009 item 1029 and i have tanked a super fed lucian and gnarr while soloing a inhib with item 3143 item 3110 item 3068 item 3026 item 3075 item 3009

  1. Be aware of whats around you, know where there jungler starts, how long it takes him to clear camps and when its possible for a gank (watch your junglers progress if all his camps are clear most likely theirs is to so be prepared

  2. Freeze lanes always every time ever no excuses learn it or dont adc mid or top. (make no wonder you got ganked pre 6 trying to take a tower after lucians first back.) >.>

  3. If you want a gank let the enemy push, this is critical. how can your jungler gank if if the enemy is uder turret. personally when i see pushed lanes i avoid them as a jungler or i go and put vision for them because i know there open to being killed.

  4. Targeting who cares about that 25% health alistar when there adc is near, kill him at all costs tanks are tank for a reason. i have personally tanked so many times and caused so many comebacks because people targed me, think to your self was it worth killing the tank when 3/5 teamates died in the process 2 had to run like hell and now we just lost mid turret or drag?

  5. Be calculated, learn the cooldown times of abilities, enemy has there q and e down ? get in do damage get out before its up. Learn animations and sounds, you can hear a blitz pull... listen for it and learn to side step. learn the ranges of your possible enemy champions, some champs out range others making them able to poke so easily its a joke... How does one get hit by a basic attack when you have more range any way?

  6. Dragon is not everything, if the enemy id taking dragon take a tower. the enemy is taking barron take an inhib, objectives win games i have won games where we were losing 60/20 because we took objectives and the enemy focused more on kills, dragons and barrons.

  7. Practice, you are not faker because you watch faker. Learn the mechanics how do you think people like faker are so good? because they are timing everything and putting it to movements at the right time, how can you dodge so much stuff? turn it around and get a penta from no health. Learn who your against how they work. The more you understand a champ the easier it is to face them.

  8. Bad games happen don't shit on someone because they died early or because they fed 2 kills before 5 mins. go help them give them motivation, trash talking them will likely cause them to do worse.

  9. The game is not over untill it is over. people try to surrender all the time, but im telling you that a comeback is always possible, ive played games where the nexus was 1 hit from death (from minion or anything) and we won due to an ace. If you quit then you accept that you failed if you play to the end it shows your more determined to win.

  10. BE determined get hyped, drink 6 coffess and 10 redbull and go play udyr on max movement speed and have some fun.

  11. Most important out of everything is have fun, why play a game that causes you stress? dont take things so serious.**

Anyway lets hear what your bronze or low elo experience was like. How did you improve? or did you improve at all.

so what your saying is that you should not if been placed in silver and that the system is flawed and your not falling into your true division.
