What is the point of provisionals?

Idk what the point of provisionals are, i mean if you just started ranked i get it; its to find ur skill, but whats bad is that b5,4 and 3 are all turning into silver and gold because of the amount of silvers and golds that got placed into that elo, it also makes it impossible to excape it. I was silver last season and i got placed in b5 (not because of my team mates but because our team kept winning early but losing late), also i cant get out of b5 because everyone in silver and gold are all in bronze. why doesn't riot just remove provisionals for the people who did it already, and just let us go up or down at our own pace? What do you guys think?

Its for your hidden MMR. They're not meant to place you per-say but to calculate ur mmr for ur future games.

It's only temporally "impossible" for you to move out. As soon as players begin to fill back into their original ranks will you in turn do so as well.

i just got out of B5. You can do it! Just focus on your own gameplay and try to avoid mistakes! My main problem is being overly aggressive and dying more than i should as a result. it looks like thats' your problem as well. Try to fix that by watching replays of your game! Just try to fix that area first. Your cs seems fine. I'd concentrate on dying less! You'll climb in no time! Also: do NOT type except for saying stuff like "gj, well done" etc...
