GG like ROBOTS

I'd like to raise a pet peeve perhaps a little issue, it's the one of players using the term GG, automatically.

This is most mistakenly and commonly seen in Aram, where champ pick isn't an option.

Often GG this is touted, when it most clearly is not at all. GG or Good Game for those who don't know. In sentiment is "Good Game".

Now day's people are in like auto mode and say GG and think its polite...

Yet how can it be a good game, in scenarios such as when it's not even a fair fight for instance, when your team have NO ADC or afks bots etc.. While the opposition has 2- 3 ADC and you already know before the minions run out your teams just going to be totally whipped, feed S all day.

So it is not a GG when the fight is really one sided, because of AFK / BOTS other teams champs just OP... really.. (again most often seen in Aram)

So ultimately you are stating that with a handicapped team or outclassed in champ select, which in my preferred mode ARAM you have no choice in, or especially if you have a bot in your team or an afk, that this is a Good Game?

... really..

It might be Good for your team...

I'd say that there was a large difference in opinions, in so much as, how that could be Good Game for the team in the underpowered situation.. mhmm.

Now you might think, because of these constant issue's as I have mentioned in one sided matchups and I face frequently as a mostly Aram player, meh this guy is salty. But you'd be incorrect, I accept it's part the Aram game unfortunately,I can't do anything about that.

But the opposition at end game GG, when its so clearly not a good game at all...well its one thing it kinda grinds my gears.

Humans are all too often in GG auto mode... not thinking about what they're typing and worse even thinking its polite...

The ones that say GG, when it's clearly not a good game, in a one sided match up, may I suggest that instead you consider saying "Well Played" or other such terms.

There used be an exception to this, where GG was stated by the side winning over the disadvantaged side, this in a league long ago in a summoner's unwritten code and seemingly long forgotten, where GG was only said in reply to an uneven match up when the disadvantaged side said it first. This might seem pedantic and perhaps it was, but it was the players in game decorum / culture.

When the situation is reversed, I say sorry you had a bot or AFK, In fact I most frequently honour the players who try to fight on in a 4 v 5 past the 15 mins in ARAM. I'm not saying we / they didn't enjoy the game or anything other that they may have got out of playing the game, but I don't say GG because it wasn't. How could it be a good game when it wasn't even a fair fight?

Think about what you're typing, esp when it's so very evident when it's not a Good Game ;P

In sports, you always say good game, its sign of respect more than anything now.

Remember that this always doesn't have to be used on the winnings sides. Unlike the state it could be in when used in unfair standards, like Riots rules, it states that "Even in defeat you should have heads high with smiles on your faces" (Summarized) meaning that the losing team, even after going through the painful effort of staying in the game, can say that it was a good game, that you tried your best and weren't just a poor sport. While in the winning stance, it could be used in terms to state that even though you guys lost, you still were a hard fight and we were able to win through dedication. This isn't used in just video games of course, but many sports and games, even in simple family play (i.e. non-competitive). People use it to end off, both happy.
