I just realized that SMITE is Earth's version of hte League of Legends.

Gods, badasses with endless followers and powerful beings strong enough to name themself a deity, that's pretty much the Legends here on Earth. Excluding urban legends because while powerful, to my knowledge none of them are included in SMITE. Well, until desperation kicks in.

What would lol on Earth take place at? Would literally every legend be in this league or would it all just be the dreams of a child being forced into our reality. Not sure.
