I recently noticed that Malzahar has 106 base AD at level 18 while Thresh has only 85. I started wondering why there was a 21 AD difference between the two of them considering some mage tanks like maokai and cho'gath have some of the highest base AD. Does Thresh's low base AD have something to do with his AD off-build?

El Condor Pasa1 votesThe on hit also scales with souls. Sit in lane for a bit and the damage difference between basic attacks quickly disappears.

(59) has the highest of current meta mages, followed closely by

7ha7guy7771 votesThe table only seems to show the top 5. I was looking for level 18 values but that's interesting that mao has so much base ad at level 1 when i could have sworn he was in the top 5 or so at level 18 too.

(114.96) has the highest AD of ranged mages.
(114.38) has the highest AD of common ranged midlane mages.

7ha7guy7771 votesIf i did the math right, base + (18 • growth) she's at 118.46. That definitely seems high. I can see why some people build her AD in ARAM games with full ap teams. Edit: Looks like i did the math wrong and it's actually 114.96
