Whats going on with riot? Why does riot wants to makes us buy useless icon and emotes with skins we don't want? Why does each hextec box awards you 1 candy and around 30 are needed for some emotes? (+ 2 per weekend = 8 u wont get far without rp) I'm hella mad right now, riot doesn't care about christmas this years they just want us to spend on hextec legacy skins boxes. Sure they've done a great work with the map decorations and I guess the updated poro king and that deserves a reward. But the thing is I like spending money in League because I'm giving money to the people that make the game I like and I get something cool that I wanted even though I didn't need it (a skin). But this years they are asking us to spend money on gambling wtf!! Last yeas we had extra rp on purchase, personalyzed sales and legendary snowball two event that lets us choose what we want and gives us a bonus (more rp, discount or mystery skin in this case). I'm unhappy to say that I don't think I'll be spending money this christmas.. Merry christmas riot..

I don't think the skins are useless :(

I can get Yellow Jacket Shen, Santa Braum, and Snowday Gnar.

Sure, they skipped out on the personalized shop that I was HOPING for so I can get Arcade Ezreal onsale, but at least I can enjoy the legacy skins I wanted.

I just dislike how they keep trying to promote this hextech crafting thing. Why gamble for a skin, champion, or a ward that you probably dont even need or want. Would rather wait for when they actually release the content itself to get it whether it be months or a year. But thats just me. &The temporary emotes are pretty silly to me considering you need money to get them and that theyre just gonna expire anyway.

Only thing I like is the release of the new skins and bringing back many of Legacy skins. :L

actually you get 2 per weekend DAY so 4 per weekend and there are 3 weeks between now and Jan 9th so that's 12 candies for ip. but yea i was hoping for a snowdown shop or a legendary snowball

Better then the project event imo. You had to fucking buy like 20 chests to get the first strike thing for all the skins. It really is disappointing that riot is giving us less and less free shit every time a new event comes around :(. I do not approve of hextech boxes though, it's basically a casino's business model.

You can buy the skins without buying hextec chests? No need to gamble, but the option is there if you're feeling lucky and want to collect 'em all.
