What makes a champion able to jungle?

Just wondering.. like.. what about their kits make them able to jungle?

I'm not a very good jungler.. so I don't know much on the jungling subject but im curious..

I know which champions can jungle but what makes those champions able to jungle? :3

He covers most of what Junglers need and why. Generally, he's a good teacher for junglers.

Id say a mix of sustained damage ( eve Q for instance ) and build it sustain ( warwick lee for example) , and maybe a ganking tool?

List of things that make a champ able to jg

clear ability- does the champion have an ok-good clear rate such as vi with her E or gragas with his Q
ganks- can this champ gank without haveing to walk in slowly to get it off there are other champs with movement speed such as udyr that can walk in but he can do it at 500 movement speed or shaco/wu that can go invis to gank.
what champ to pick as the jg- you must first look at your team comp and decide does my team need a tank with engage then pick someone such as gragas or vi. does my team need some early pressure to get them to late game then pick someone like shaco. does my team have a strong early/ mid game pick lee sin. does my team need burst to take out a adc pick rengar(you can pick more than those champs they are examples).
the abilities- the jg abilities need to synergies with the team not just complement them such as a vi and a yasuo they can chain their ults to get off a big burst damage.

A perfect jungler can clear camps quickly, has sustain, is mobile, offers high quality ganks thru some sort of CC, can 1v1 so they can invade or fight off an invade, and offers utility to the team.

Any champion that can do the majority of these things can probably jungle well.

To be honest everyone can jungle. heck i bard jg all the time (yes im one of those people lol) You just need to know how your champion works and the best clear path for said champion. that being said the best junglers tend to have a good clear time, some sort of aoe, and good sustain.
