I have this problem where my friends can hear everything on my computer through Skype and Curse does anybody know how to fix this please help.

I don't have a ton of experience with either piece of software, but I imagine it's because you have the audio input set not to your microphone but to your drivers.

Given that you didn't even mention what OS you're on, it's hard to offer very specific advice.

Either:

  1. Your mic is close enough to pick up noise coming from your speakers. You can test this by turning your speakers down or off. If this fixes the problem, turn your speakers down or move the mic away from them.

  2. Your OS is "listening" to audio playback and feeding that to apps that are listening for mic input. While you sometimes might want this (e.g. to record video of playing a game on your PC), this causes feedback in things like Skype calls. There should be a setting in the audio mixer or recording/mic settings of your OS to enable/disable this. Sometimes there will be a "what you hear" input listed for recording -- if so, make sure it is disabled (you want to only take input from the mic) or the volume is turned all the way down.
