Changing the map design from open world dynamic to scripted linear was incredibly stupid. On top of that, I hated the story, largely because of the decisions that were made during the comic (which was one of the worst I've read due to a lot of glaring holes in the story in regards to the actual gameplay). Alcatraz was simply unlikeable, mostly because they introduce him as the token silent protagonist. I mean, it made sense with Nomad in the first game because he wasn't much of a talker to begin with. However, what sets Nomad apart from Alcatraz is that his character is revealed little by little when he spoke. I actually was hoping that Crysis 2 would've picked up where the first game left off, but the game was such a huge disappointment, I refuse to play the third game. Crysis 2 was absolute crap.
P.S. I don't really care so much about the graphics, as long as the game looked fine and ran well. I actually hate how people cr@p on a game simply because of the inability to look pretty in 1080p or some other bulls- - - like that. It's a fairly trivial point.
