3.5 mills a day so we'll be lucky if we get to 25mills reward by the end of it.
Are we playing less or Riot made this so we never reach the 55 mills ?

They made it a tad too hard to get the points because nobody wants to no-life this game.

They made it too tough, since it requires a full five man party. In ranked, a 5 man requires you to form a dedicated team, so nobody playing solo queue ranked will be contributing since they won't want to play normals. And not a ton of people have five people they can play with frequently to be a consistent contributor.
It's a pretty silly promotion, given the number of points required and the limitations.
Might have been better if they had 2-5 points based on how many in the premade.
I like the 1 point per person in the premade, since it encourages grouping up less pressure to wait on 4 other people to get started.
