So I just played a xerath game, and I was talking with the enemy malphite and after a few messeges, all 4 of my "teammates" turned on me and said a whole bunch of rude things, basically shut the f*ck up, but in many colorful ways, and for the rest of the game, they were all against me saying to report, I'm bad and whatever, not gonna lie, I got a little butthurt, um, what do i do, just not chat to the enemy in future games or mute everyone and simply listen to music? item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

In future games where people are harassing you, yes. Mute and report is precisely the correct course of action. Do not respond to their toxicity, because it will only feed them to keep going. Don't even tell them they are muted or you are going to report them.

From my experience if you talk in chat you get banned so you probably have the right idea with the music thing.

mute people as you see fit. Imo unless you can't control yourself there's no reason to mute people from the get go just because they might be bad.

Saying ANYTHING in chat other than the handful of pre-approved league chat messages WILL eventually get you banned. In the future, only open chat if you play to type "gg", "wp", "gj" or "gl hf". Saying anything else will somehow be taken the wrong way and end with you being banned because some butthurt kid decided that you saying "we should do drag" was infringing on his freedom to splitpush top alone as Nami.

That or just /mute all. Works like a charm. Anything you really need to say can be communicated in pings, really.
